Happy last weekend in November all! Another month sails by at warp speed and the final countdown on 2008 begins in a couple of days. Hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving! Mine was quiet for the most part, including the Black Friday ventures starting at 4am. As the day went on, Black Friday slowly turned into White Friday as some snow moved in. While this wasn't anything significant in terms of depth, this should've bene the season's first snow which would've set the record and actually would stick around. Last night at midnight, I had an inch; overnight about inch and change fell so we're sitting at just under 2.5 inches. The cold weather and clouds are hanging around, so it should hang tight. In fact, the models bring another surge in tonight that may add another inch to the totals before things clear out. Just nice to see some real snow around for a change, and even nicer that my travel plans keep me close to home through most of the day. I'll probably sit down and watch a couple of the chase highlight videos I have received this week, then I head downtown this evening to meet with the Colorado Weathersexuals group at Old Chicago for our monthly get-together! Tomorrow rounds out the Thanksgiving break with football and some more cold, cloudy weather before heading back to campus to finish out the semester.
With that, I leave you with a few pics from our second-floor balcony..
