While not significant in terms of snowfall amounts, this is the biggest storm of the season so far for the metro area. A light, fluffy snow is still coming down with about three inches accumulated so far and another inch or two possible by this evening when the storm starts to move out.

I have some errands to run later this afternoon, so I'll probably shoot some more photos when I head out. Nice to finally be in a fairly active pattern, even as these aren't ball-buster storms.

Just got the Christmas card you guys sent - thanks!!! that was awesome, it's the fist one for us to hang up this season!!! I sure wish we could get some of that snow here, but as always all we get is wind. Take care!!!!
Wish it would snow down here.
Just a thought - it isn't just your blog but all blogs. I link your photos, from time to time, on StormReports, but people don't know where "the metro" is. For new people reading your blog it is hard to tell where you are located.
I have noticed that almost every blog is this way, these days. It will say the name of a town in the photo discussion - like Maysville - and then never say what state.
For long time blog readers it is no big deal. For all the new people that are surfing and clicking links it becomes an issue.
On my web blog (which I am trying to upgrade to wordpress) I usually put something like this...
It looks like it will snow across our region later this week (West KY/South IL).
I try to include that in as many as posts as possible. That way new people know where I am talking about.
Just a thought - enjoy your blog and link it often.
:)
