After the talks and my dinner with Bruce and Cathy, I attended the GOES party at the Hyatt with the Metro State folks. We hung around and met with a lot of Metro Alumnus, chatted with various folks, and met a couple of other chasers before the party wrapped up and we called it a night.
Tomorrow will be my longest day at the conference as I will be in talks all day starting at 8am. I'm spending the morning up until lunch talks covering Mesoscale Data Assimilation and Impact Experience, then meeting with another professor for lunch. After lunch, I am sitting in on talks covering Observations/Studies of High Impace Weather in Urban Areas and High Impact US Weather Events of 2008. After the talks end for the day, we are heading to the Exhibit Hall to meet with various companies and check out some of the new weather technology. Afterwards another dinner and get-together will wrap up the evening.
So I'm off to cram some shut-eye before tomorrow's lengthy day. Goodnight from Phoenix!
