First Wyoming Tornado, Amazing

We are plowing down I-80 right now in 40+ knot wind gusts from the storms to our north that are pumping out insane outflow. Matt is driving and we are getting absolutely rocked right now. Gonna make for a long ride in to Kearney where we are staying overnight.

Anywoo, the important stuff.. intercepted the supercell near Meridan, Wyoming and watched a tornado on the ground for about 25 minutes. Below are the images from this amazing storm..

The tornado at its birth.

The tornado getting very stout.

The supercell parent and the tornado looking west from US-85.

After crossing in front of us, the tornado begins to rope out to our east.

The tornado really getting pretty as it ropes out.

The giant baseball hailstones left from this storm.

The amazing structure after it crossed into Nebraska.

You can probably imagine there is much much more to come from this amazing chase!!!
